From the Newark Arts Alliance to the Friends of White Clay Creek State Park to the Newark Area Welfare Community to the Newark Branch of the NAACP it is full of amazing community organizations staffed by volunteers who care about the quality of life here. We are also lucky to have a world-class university, a thriving Main Street, and numerous wonderful parks and bike paths where our residents can learn and play and spend time together. It was a joy to raise my family here and it's been an honor of my life to serve.”
